We stayed here in October 2024 whilst touring Spain with our small dog. We checked that our well behaved dog would be welcome first. We had a very enjoyable 3 nights in the charming twin bed self catering room which has direct access from a private shady terrace (with a gas BBQ) which was perfect for the dog. The room itself was immaculately clean and offered a cool retreat from the heat of the day. The Shower room/wc is in a separate building outside but the area is well lit at night.
The unmade private road up to the farm is driveable but the farmer offered to drive us up if we didn’t feel confident navigating the bumpy track. The elevated position of the farm gives you stunning unbeatable views of the river below so it’s worth it!
During our stay we were lucky to have fun on the river in a small boat and enjoyed a memorable lunch in a restaurant by the river near Fayon. The river offers breathtaking views and glimpses of ruins from the Spanish Civil War, the whole area is steeped in fascinating history.
We also took time to explore the traditional Catalan village of Riba-roja d’Ebre, enjoying drinks with the locals in a pretty square. There are a few local shops in Riba and there’s a really good supermarket in Flix to stock up.
We throughly enjoyed our brief stay, which was perfectly situated for the next leg of our tour down to the beautiful Roman city of Tarragona, stopping off for lunch in the lovely town of Falset on the way.
We definitely recommend a stop over here, we saw fishermen, kayakers, mountain bikers, hikers and 4×4 safari trips we think the farm is ideally placed for these activities or like us a perfect base to explore the unspoilt area and simply relax. Thank you for the warm welcome!

I stayed at this beautiful traditional rural retreat as a solo traveller for 2 nights in September 2024. I flew in to Reus from Stansted airport and hired a car. The farm is approximately an hours drive inland. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing and exploring the local area. The hospitality of the hosts, who both went out of their way to welcome me and make my stay comfortable which made my short stay extra special. The panoramic views of the river valley from the farm are unforgettable and the night skies were simply stunning. I can’t wait to return to share the experience with friends.

This place is the most amazing get away experience! Lovely hosts are sharing their rustic haven that is filled with personality and tranquil atmosphere. The scenery is breathtaking!We would come back any day to unwind and explore more of the many activities.
