Our Story

It all started seven years ago, 2018, when We embarked on an adventure to revitalize a forgotten olive farm in the rolling hills of river Ebro , Catalonia, Spain. The land had been abandoned for over 20 years, left to the nature’s whims. But we saw potential where others saw ruin.

The farmhouse, weathered and dilapidated, became our first project. For five years, we poured our hearts and hands into rebuilding it,restoring the stone walls and breathing life back into the heart of the land. Solar panels now adorn  the roof ,and a large water tank sits proudly beside the house ,collecting only the purest rainwater . With a 40 000-liter capacity. It is our lifeblood in the land where the rains are few but precious.

Living off-grid became more than just a lifestyle ;it became our way of being. We rely on rainwater for everything, always mindful of nature’s rhythms. Our farm slowly has begun to flourish, with fruits, vegetables and olives, but not without challenges. The wild boar and deer, our constant companions and adversaries tested our patience. They would ravage the crops and trample through the fields, making it clear that we are not alone in this wild landscape.

So we still plan ahead-greenhouses to protect delicate plants, and fences to keep the boars and deer at bay. But the biggest gift of all was the surrounding nature, untouched and bountiful. We are surrounded by nature reserves, and each year, we witness the breathtaking migration of birds from Scandinavia to Africa, a spectacle that begins in April and continues into November.

In the middle of nowhere we found everything we needed-peace ,purpose, and deep connection with the earth. Our story, like the land itself,is one of rebirth, patience and an enduring love for the natural world.

We would love to welcome you to stay with us to share our experiences with you.
